Benzoic Stories

There is this felling that one gets(if you are an average Kenyan who happens not to own a car) when u step in one of these Porsche cars, be it a Porsche itself, M.Benz(whatever the class),BMW and the likes. First there is some sort of excitement that kicks in and that felling of taking a selfie and broadcasting it to the world. When the Adrenalin settles the isolation felling and cut off from the surrounding and also the thoughts that flood your mind are of a different nature. They include: golfing, horse ridding, buying an island, investing at two rivers & such. Also how u even talk there is a an accent that kicks in with a twist of English and get to wonder if one has just landed from the UK. All that settled you now cruising  on the road the ac on mid mode, then from nowhere this speeding bus with loud horns and an annoying exhaust just appears from nowhere and struggles to overtake us from the wrong side of the road. There is this bread of men who are programmed differently and society tend to cast them away and give them the side eye. I stand here today(am actually sited in a matatu with loud music in the morning heading to town.). But still I stand in heart & mind.   The point is I defend the boy child who does not like or even care about football. I know I have already stepped on to many peoples toes but someone had to address this issue. Its not that we are less of a man or as they say "mkona umama" but we tend to view it in a very different angle.  It was one of those Sundays  that the sun decides to rise early than usual. Still in bed trying to decide weather to go to church or not.  I look at her & she gives me that eye, I look up and ask the big guy for forgiveness & get cozy. Time laps and lazily drag my weak legs to the kitchen & make some eggs for breakfast. I go though the DVDs and realize that I need to restock. Since its midday I Carry her to the couch lock the door & head to the movie guy(O.G. entertainment). This guys they  just reopened and I must say they are not the best in the world but they don’t disappoint .
